Wino Joe and Wife at 3rd Old-timers Day
Wino Joe and Wife at 3rd Old-timers Day

Details

September 15,1984 at Omaha, Nebraska 74 Minutes ~ 15 Tracks Great new CD made from two cassette tape combined onto one CD. Wife of Wino Joe almost as funny as he is. Hear the story of the woman who stuck by him when he was doing the stuff he talks about in his story. Wino Joe is an AA Humorist not silly or vulgar. A sort of Will Rogers with a drunkalgue. He tells some stories I haven't heard him tell before and deals with some marital topics. The Old-timers Day event was a history oriented get-together and he does talk a little about AA History and Bill Wilson. Wino Joe new Bill Wilson personally and got sober in April of 1950. So he does have some firsthand knowledge of Alcoholics Anonymous
