Clarence Snyder of Casselberry, Florida at Eureka, CA ~ October 22, 1977 Tells His Story and Talks About Each of the 12 Steps A very good talk. Clarence tells his story. He talks about the kind of drinker he was; he recounts some episodes and talks about how drinking affected him and his family. How Dr Bob worked with him at Akron City Hospital. His experiences with the Oxford Group prior to the Alcoholics breaking away from it. How the first group to meet under the name Alcoholics Anonymous was formed. The growth of AA in Cleveland following the CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER newspaper articles. Deals with some things he feels are widely misunderstood one of which is Anonymity. Talks about each step in sufficient detail to explain his method of working with people and how the steps are to be taken. Clarence worked with thousands of people before his death in the late 1980s. Occasionally I sell a CD to AA members who were sponsored by him and have successfully stayed sober for decades. Clarence was sober for over 40 years when he passed away and actively worked with other alcoholics the entire time.
