Bobby C  was a Philadelphia city cop who got sober in Alcoholics Anonymous. He is a storyteller. His AA message is a succession of stories covering various phases of his life both drunk and sober. His life as an active Alcoholic and policeman. His descent into Alcoholism and then at the end Drug Addiction also. His Recovery from Alcoholism and the slow process of being restored to sanity. Crazy experiences in early sobriety. How thru the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous he became relatively happy and sane.

Here is a real alcoholic who had all sorts of alcoholic jackpots and adventures but always had a job. His first Alcoholic drinking was after a few of his fellow soldiers were killed in combat. He becomes a Philadelphia police officer after the service and has lots of adventures as a cop who is also a drunk. He finally gets sober and a long recovery process begins. It took along time because he would not follow suggestions and do the steps. After a few years of dry insanity he does the steps. He actually talks about each of the steps and the concludes his talk discussing his life after taking the steps. A really good talk.
